Fluid Mechanics Laboratory

Fluid Mechanics Laboratory allows the students to understand the theoretical principles of Fluid Mechanics and Applied Hydraulic Engineering.

The objective of this laboratory is to make students understand the fluid properties such as surface tension, temperature, viscosity and get a realistic measurement experience of these properties, which are very important for the selection of pumps, pipes and their specifications such as material, size and slope. The study of pumps and turbines and its mechanisms will enhance students’ knowledge to choose the right equipment for the right work. This lab gives overall knowledge about the production of power from water by using different turbines.

The Department has adequate computer laboratory facilities with the latest in Hardware and Software. The Institution scrupulously follows the AICTE norms regarding computer resources to be made available to students.

The Institution also has a well-stocked library with a wide range of management books as well as journals, both national and international. The collection is constantly reviewed and updated with new titles and editions.
