Power System Simulation Laboratory

Area:153.7sq.m
Lab in-charge:Ms. D. L. Ahila, Asst. Prof./EEE

The Objective of the Power System Simulation laboratory is to bring the notion of power systems modelling into practise by mathematically modelling diverse power systems equipment and selecting projects on power systems analysis and AI applications to power systems. The features of a solar PV system, wind farm, and fuel cell are simulated in MATLAB to encourage our students to engage in research. The laboratory is well equipped with personal computer systems and software packages like MATLAB, ETAP and PSCAD for conducting simulation studies in a variety of fields such as control systems, power electronics, signals and systems, and power systems.
