Power Electronics Laboratory

Area:153.7sq.m
Lab in-charge:Dr. M. Thamil Alagan, Asst.Prof./EEE

The Power Electronics laboratory provides students with the necessary tools to get an understanding of different types of power semiconductor devices and their applications in rectifiers, inverters, and choppers. It also covers the use of electronic devices for electric power conversion, control, and conditioning. Furthermore, it assists students in studying the switching techniques, modulation techniques, and harmonic reduction techniques of PWM inverters.
