CSI Student Chapter
Computer Society of India is a body of computer professionals in India. It was started on 6 March 1965 by a few computer professionals and has now grown to be the national body representing computer professionals.
It has 72 chapters across India, 511 student branches, and 100,000 members. The Computer Society of India is a non-profit professional meet to exchange views and information to learn and share ideas.
The wide spectrum of members is committed to the advancement of theory and practice of Computer Engineering and Technology Systems, Science and Engineering, Information Processing and related Arts and Sciences.
The Society also encourages and assists professionals to maintain integrity and competence of the profession and fosters a sense of partnership amongst members. Besides the activities held at the Chapters and Student Branches, the Society also conducts periodic conferences, seminars.
Objectives
- To participate in the international, national, regional and chapter events of CSI such as conferences, seminars, symposia, workshops, technical talks, free lectures on latest technological advancements in IT.
- To offer workshops/ trainings in collaboration with CSI.
- To deliver guest lecturers in educational institutes associated to CSI across India.
- To become part of CSI management Committee at Chapter, Regional and National levels subject to the eligibility criteria.

Solar Energy Society of India (SESI) - Institutional Member

The Society is interdisciplinary in nature, with most of the leading energy researchers and manufacturers of renewable energy systems and devices of
the country as its members.
High academic attainments are not a prerequisite for membership and any person engaged in research, development or utilization of renewable energy or in fields related to
renewable energy and interested in the promotion of renewable energy utilization can become a member of the society.
SESI Activities:
- Encourage the students to publish a biannual technical journal containing papers on renewable energy utilization, technical notes, and other items of interest to those
involved in renewable energy research and development.
- Conduct workshops on renewable energy topics at regular intervals.
- Participate in the International Congress on Renewable Energy once a year,
conducted by the Solar Energy Society of India, where numerous scientific and technical papers are presented and discussed.
Indian Green Building Council

The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) was formed in the year 2001.
The vision of the council is "To enable a sustainable built environment for all and facilitate India to be one of the global leaders in the sustainable built environment by 2025". Our Institution is an Annual Member of the IGBC since March 2022. The Student's Chapter was established with the collaboration of faculty members and students of the Department of Civil Engineering on 7th September 2022.
Objectives
- To create awareness on Green Buildings among the students.
- To conduct seminars and presentation by experts on Green Building.
- To glow the ideas of green in young minds.
- To encourage the use of sustainable materials.
- To promote opportunities to participate in IGBC Events.
