Onam Celebration at ACET

Amrita Institutions, Erachakulam, Nagercoil celebrated Onam in a grand and traditional manner on 7th September 2022. Dr. T. Kannan, Principal & Academic Director, Amrita Institutions; The Administrative Manager, Mr. V. Prabaharan; Heads of the Departments and Faculty Members participated in the celebration. Many cultural events were staged successfully. In connection with this celebration various competitions were conducted .The most interesting floral carpet (Athapoo) competition took place with pomp and fervour. Onam songs, Thiruvathira dances and games like breaking the pot, water filling added hues to the celebrations. Students from all the departments participated enthusiastically. The wishes and celebrations went well with a salubrious Onam Sadhya in the final touches. Students of Amrita College of Engineering and Technology, Amrita College of Education and Amrita Polytechnic College in unison took part in all competitions. The Onam celebrations of the academic year 2022 -2023 became one of the memorable events in the recent history of the college.
