CSI Student Chapter
Computer Society of India is a body of computer professionals in India. It was started on 6 March 1965 by a few computer professionals and has now grown to be the national body representing computer professionals. It has 72 chapters across India, 511 student branches, and 100,000 members. The Computer Society of India is a non-profit professional meet to exchange views and information to learn and share ideas. The wide spectrum of members is committed to the advancement of theory and practice of Computer Engineering and Technology Systems, Science and Engineering, Information Processing and related Arts and Sciences. The Society also encourages and assists professionals to maintain integrity and competence of the profession and fosters a sense of partnership amongst members. Besides the activities held at the Chapters and Student Branches, the Society also conducts periodic conferences, seminars.
Objectives
- To participate in the international, national, regional and chapter events of CSI such as conferences, seminars, symposia, workshops, technical talks, free lectures on latest technological advancements in IT.
- To offer workshops/ trainings in collaboration with CSI.
- To deliver guest lecturers in educational institutes associated to CSI across India.
- To become part of CSI management Committee at Chapter, Regional and National levels subject to the eligibility criteria.

Solar Energy Society of India (SESI) - Institutional Member

The Society is interdisciplinary in nature, with most of the leading energy researchers and manufacturers of renewable energy systems and devices of the country as its members. High academic attainments are not a prerequisite for membership and any person engaged in research, development or utilization of renewable energy or in fields related to renewable energy and interested in the promotion of renewable energy utilization can become a member of the society.
SESI Activities:
- Encourage the students to publish a biannual technical journal containing papers on renewable energy utilization, technical notes, and other items of interest to those involved in renewable energy research and development.
- Conduct workshops on renewable energy topics at regular intervals.
- Participate in the International Congress on Renewable Energy once a year, conducted by the Solar Energy Society of India, where numerous scientific and technical papers are presented and discussed.

IGBC
The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) was formed in the year 2001. The vision of the council is "To enable a sustainable built environment for all and facilitate India to be one of the global leaders in the sustainable built environment by 2025". Our Institution is an Annual Member of the IGBC since March 2022. The Student's Chapter was established with the collaboration of faculty members and students of the Department of Civil Engineering on 7th September 2022.
Objectives
- To create awareness on Green Buildings among the students.
- To conduct seminars and presentation by experts on Green Building.
- To glow the ideas of green in young minds.
- To encourage the use of sustainable materials.
- To promote opportunities to participate in IGBC Events.

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is India's leading recognized professional society devoted to the advancement of Science and Technology in Electronics, Telecommunication, and Computers & IT. Founded in 1953, it serves more than 1,25,000 members through various centers spread all over India and abroad.
The IETE Students' Forum is set up at Amrita College of Engineering and Technology, Nagercoil with the involvement of senior faculty members and students of the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) in the year of June 2019.
Objectives
- To encourage and motivate the outside Class room activities /Workshops/Projects/Seminars.
- To counsel the students to identify emerging new opportunities.
- To Increase the student base and corporate membership of IETE.
- To provide a common platform for student members to exchange their innovative ideas.
- To serve as a focal point at the institution on all aspects of professional development of student members.

Institution of Engineers (India)
Amrita College of Engineering and Technology, Nagercoil has been approved to establish IE(I) Students’ chapter for three engineering disciplines by the Institutions of Engineers (India), Kolkata during July 2019. Institution of Engineers (India) Student chapters were started in August 2019.
The Institution of Engineers (India) [IEI] is a statutory body established in 1920 and incorporated by Royal Charter in 1935 to promote and advance the engineering and technology. It is the largest multi-disciplinary professional body of engineers in the Country encompassing 15 (fifteen) engineering disciplines with a Corporate membership of over 2 lakhs and serving the nation for more than 9 decades. The IEI has its headquarters located in Kolkata with national presence through more than hundred Centers and several Overseas Chapters.
Objectives of IE(I) Chapters:
- To provide industry networking opportunity for student members to improve their professional development
- To provide Platform for enhancing leadership & communication skill of staff & students
- To organize events which helps in improving their skills

CII YUVA- Student Chapter
The CII- Youth YUVA Chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) was established in the Year 2019. CII is a non-governmental, industry-oriented service organization. Its purpose is to contribute to the growth of the Indian industry by creating a sustainable environment, through a series of global strategic linkages.
YUVA is the student wing of CII -Yi; It motivates students to be a part of the nation- building activities by imbibing the qualities of entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, and skill-building.
The YUVA Chapter gives an opportunity to the students to have an interaction with successful entrepreneurs and professionals worldwide. Members of YUVA chapter can participate in major Yi events, learning programs, youth conclaves, etc.
The activities are divided primarily into three areas: "Youth Leadership", "Nation Building" and "Thought Leadership"
Under Youth Leadership, Yi takes care of the promotion of leadership skills through risk optimization, innovation, and managing a robust organizational environment.
Under Nation Building, Yi engages its members to take part in education, environment, healthcare, employability, arts (sports & culture), rural initiatives, accessibility & disaster management, and so on. Thereby it contributes positively to its surrounding ecosystem and the nation.
Under Thought Leadership, Yi contributes experiential learning and conducts interactive sessions with industry experts. Yi organizes its Annual Flagship Summit "Take Pride" to celebrate Yi"s achievements, and to showcase the efforts of its members from across its 53 chapters.
