Basic Engineering - Laboratory Resources
The department of First Year Basic Engineering is equipped with Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab Communication Lab and Basics of Industries and Workshop Practical to provide basic practical knowledge among the students.
To develop the best skillset in handling Instruments, Equipment and taking readings in the practical class students are trained. Engineering physics practical classes provide the students, the fundamental concepts on engineering-oriented topics, familiarizing the basic experimental techniques and parameters in Physics. As it is the outer cover for all Engineering forms, the students uncover the disciplines' practical ideas through the support of the well-trained faculty members. Through this course, students understand the methodology of science and the relationship between observation and theory.

“The quality of your life is in the quality of your communication” opined Antony Robins. Language is the means of self-expression and one of the prime most tools for communication. Communicative fluency augments one’s personal, academic, social and professional life. The present syllabus, focusing on four Communication Skills, viz. Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing, enables the students at Diploma level gain confidence and fluency in communication which in turn would enhance them face their career commitments with globalized standards. At the completion of the study, the students will be able to iimprove their auditory skills to listen attentively, speak effectively, and write flawlessly. This course gives confidence in students to face interviews.
Language Laboratory is an activity forum where student and faculty interact with their entire positive attitude to enrich their LSRW through various forms. It enables the learners to understand and apply the conventions of academic writing in English. It develops the learner to use grammatical structures accurately and helps them to learn the usage of sentences. It develops reading and comprehension skills which act as a bridge to express coherent sentence constructions in subjective writing.
