Online FDP – 7 days virtual workshop on “Teachers, Teaching and Information and Communication Technologies" | 27 July 2020 to 02 August 2020

Programme Overview
For more than a century, the most predominant form of teaching learning in higher education has been classroom-based and instructor led face-to-face (F2F) interaction. Modern Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) offer unprecedented opportunities to enhance learning effectiveness and hence access to quality teaching, learning and assessment. This programme is designed to train our teacher educators to provide knowledge, skill and ability in using online teaching learning tools and systems like Learning Management Systems, Virtual Classrooms, Online Assessment, OER Management, etc.
 
Objectives
Providing training to the Teacher Educators Community to use ICT resources to for the following purposes:
  • Creating online Courses using Moodle
  • Video content Recording and Editing
  • Working with Microsoft Team for conducting Virtual Classes for Collaborative Learning
  • Working with Google Classroom for easy sharing of resources.
Programme Details
  • Duration of the Program is 7 Days. One/two hours of live demonstration and practical sessions are scheduled every day.
  • Microsoft Team portal from Amrita College of Education will be provided for the training.
  • Teachers and students working in College of Education, affiliated to Tamilnadu Teacher Education Universities can register and Participate
  • Registration and Participation is free
  • Self-paced Practical Sessions are conducted
  • e-Certificate to all the participants will be issued on Successful Completion of the Programme. Minimum 80% attendance is required, and assignments are to be completed as per the schedule.
