MathWorks Support
SCIENCTIFIC COMPUTING SUPPORT TO STUDNETS TO WORK FROM HOME
Amrita College of Engineering and Technology offers to faculty and students to practice MATLAB, a software from MathWorks Limited used for machine learning, signal processing, image processing, computer vision, communications, computational finance, control design, robotics, etc. to improve their scientific computing skills useful for solving variety of engineering problems.
Staff and students of Amrita Institutions can become members of the Amrita MATLAB user forum. Campus - wide MATLAB License called Total Academic Headcount (TAH) with unlimited access to MATLAB and Simulink products of MathWorks is made available for the members of Amrita MATLAB user forum from the AY 2018-19.
The primary objective of providing this service is to accelerate Learning and Research inside the Campus.
KEEP TEACHING | KEEP LEARNING | KEEP WORKING DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
With the Campus-wide License, members have on/off campus access to MATLAB, Simulink and all their product offerings. Campus-wide License have access to the most up-to-date suite of MATLAB and Simulink products available for academic use. Faculty can engage students also in research and enable the student to focus initially on solving less complex research problems using MATLAB. TAH allows faculty, researchers, staff, and students to download and install all the licensed products on their work and personal computers and practice to build their MATLAB and Simulink skills.
ACCESS TO SOFTWARE
For personal computers, MATLAB can be downloaded and installed locally using the following instructions. After install, no network or VPN connection is required.
