“Today, universities and their researchers are ranked mainly based on the amount of funding they receive, the number of papers they publish and their intellectual calibre. Along with this, we should take into consideration how much we have been able to use their research to serve the lowest and most vulnerable strata of society.”
INSTITUTE LECTURE SERIES
At Amrita College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), Nagercoil, we believe that a successful future can be built by learning from our own experiences as well as those of others. An initiative is taken to organise weekly lecture series by the senior members of our faculty to address the students and faculty to develop a broader perspective of their responsibility to society as an Engineer and to give them an opportunity to gain insights from the panel of speakers on career building and become successful in academic and social life.
In this endeavour, Lecture sessions are arranged every week, Wednesday between 1:20 PM and 2:10 PM. All members of faculty and students are encouraged to attend the lecture.
