3) What is the procedure for getting admission to your polytechnic college?

Candidates who have passed 10th Class can join Diploma in the First Year of a 3 year diploma programme and those who have passed 12th class can join directly in the second year of the 3 year programme. 8) How are online Classes Conducted in your college?

The college campus is a Microsoft Certified Digital Campus. We use Mcrosoft Teams Platform for Online Teaching. Students can attend online classes using their Laptop/Desktop/Mobile.

To readily download the learning material, the college has a Learning Management System Powered by MOODLE. Students can download the study material any time from the LMS server http://moodle.amrita.edu.in/

Also, day to day assessments are carried out using a Google Classroom Platform and the link for each class is given in the college website.

Yes, we provide hostel (Separate Boys and Girls hostels with Mess Hall) facilities with hygenic vegetarian food for boys and girls. Study  halls and Indoor games facilities are available in both the hostels

2) Travel by train to reach Nagercoil. From the Railway station to Erachakulam by bus –(7 km)

Yes. All buildings are connected by fiber and powered by 55 MBPs ACT fiberlink. Every building has wi-fi routers.

16) What are scholarship available?

The following scholarships are available for students studying 3 year Diploma in Engineering:

1)      BC & MBC Scholarship: (State Govt) Scholarship)

BC/MBC Scholarship for Backward & MBC Community students whose parents income does not exceed Rs) 2,00,000/- per yearcan apply through the college office for the state government BC & MBC Scholarship to the Director of Backward Classes of Government of Tamilnadu)

2)      SC/ST Scholarship Tamilnadu: Govt of India Scholarship is applicable only for SC / ST and converted Christian SC Students)

Eligibility Conditions:

i) 50% of marks in the previous year Examination)

ii) Should produce SC / ST certificate)

iii) The parent annual income for Hindu SC should not exceed Rs) 2,50,000/-

iv) The parent annual income for Christian should not exceed Rs) 2,00,000/-

3)      Minority Scholarship

The students belonging to minority class (Christian, muslim etc) are eligible to get the following minority scholarships
