MATLAB Student Forum, is organizing MATLAB Program Debugging,” 22nd May 2021.



MATLAB Students Forum, Amrita College of Engineering and Technology is organizing MATLAB Program Debugging contest for all the UG & PG students on 22-05-2021 using the editor in MATLAB online. The best MATLAB coding debugger will be offered the “Amrita Matrix Innovate Award 2021”.
The main aim of this event is to enable the students to:
  • Understand the difference between testing and debugging
  • Know the three categories of program errors
  • Understand the importance and limitations of testing
  • Know general testing strategies for small programs
  • Be able to use MATLAB's debugger and online editor
RULES AND GUIDELINES
1)  Registration is compulsory for all participants. Please register on or before 21st May 2021, 10:00 PM.
2)  This code debugging contest will be held in online mode via M teams.
3)  Duration of the exam is 60 minutes, and 40 questions will be provided consisting of MCQs and short answers and using the editor in MATLAB online.
4)  Your code might be evaluated relying upon the correctness of the code and time complexity.
5)  In case of any tie, the rating might be decided relying on the overall time taken through the candidate on this round.
6)  All decisions made by the evaluators are final and are not subjected to any appeal.
7)  Any violation of the rules & regulations shall cause the cancellation of the candidature from the competition.
8)  All participants are provided with the participation certificates.
9)  Best MATLAB code debugger will be presented with “Amrita Matrix Innovate Award 2021”.
