Creativity, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Cell | ACET
People with ideas are dreamers. They do not search for one right answer.
People who get things done are doers. One doer is worth eight dreamers.
People who have ideas about how to solve problem encountered by others are problem solvers.
People who have new ideas are inventors. Because of their ability (creativity) to develop new ideas and to discover new ways of looking at problems and opportunities, these people are called inventors.
People who could apply creative solutions to those problems and opportunities to enhance people’s lives or to enrich society are innovators.
People who transform ideas into products or services or processes are entrepreneurs.
Innovative entrepreneurs introduce new products, new services, new methods of production of goods/services/processes, open/create new markets, find alternate use of existing products, etc. to marry their creative ideas with the purposeful action and structure of a business.
The ability to be creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial are vital skills expected to become successful in one’s career.
